How to Put a FLAC File on an iPod
- 1). Open your FLAC file in a program capable of converting FLAC files to another format. VLC Media Player and Winamp are two free programs with this capability.
- 2). Select the output format. Make sure that this format is readable by your iPod. Note that many formats involve a bit of file compression, resulting in a slightly diminished sound quality.
- 3). Convert your file to the desired format.
- 1). Open iTunes.
- 2). Add the converted file to your iTunes Library by using the "Add File to Library" function in the File drop-down menu.
- 3). Connect your iPod to your computer.
