How to Avoid White Residue on Plastic Furniture
- 1). Rinse off outdoor furniture regularly with the garden hose, or wipe down indoor furniture with a damp cleaning rag.
- 2). Fill a cleaning bucket with 1 gallon water, 2 cups white vinegar and 2 squirts dish soap.
- 3). Dip a cleaning rag into the solution and scrub over the plastic to remove white residue.
- 4). Rinse the furniture again with the hose or wipe down with a damp cloth, and dry the furniture with a clean, dry rag.
- 5). Clean with the homemade solution as needed to keep furniture clean. This solution prevents film from accumulating, thereby helping you avoid the white residue.
