Beat Excessive Underarm Sweating For Good

At one time or another we will all have sweaty armpits.
It just comes when being human.
But, some of us are cursed with excessively sweaty armpits and the unfortunate body odor that comes with it.
Naturally, we are self-conscious, who wouldn't be? But what's even worse than worrying about our armpits all the time is how we are judged to have poor personal hygiene.
It's maddening! The truth is sweaty armpits cost us in many ways.
The anxiety associated with it is one thing, but the missed social, business and personal opportunities may never be recovered.
Heavy sweating can derail a romance or sabotage a job offer.
Fortunately, there are simple solutions to excessive sweating, but it may take a shift in your awareness and patience to fully realize them.
It's common to consider our body as some willful, foreign beast we must forever struggle against.
Think about it.
We're taught that our heart might attack us or that our body might mysteriously self-destruct with cancer.
If your underarms are sweating excessively, you might believe you must somehow dominate and subdue them into perpetual sanitary dryness.
Relax.
Your body is all you have.
It's the only thing keeping you in the world.
Stop fighting it and start listening to it.
Maybe your sweaty armpits are a message.
Maybe your body is trying to tell you you're eating crappy food, or not to wear nylon or you're under too much stress at work.
Maybe it's telling you to leave the relationship that is slowly killing you.
That miraculous dynamo that sparked your heart to beat when you were nothing but a mass of dividing cells in your mother's womb is still very much at work inside you now.
It is forever seeking to balance all the functions of your body in the most healthy and efficient manner.
Unfortunately, in our ignorance, we tend to work against it.
Consider that the human body wasn't designed to eat the things we eat or to live the way we live in the contemporary western culture.
Most of us live on a diet laden with manufactured food-like substances instead of authentic food.
The western diet is rich in chemical additives, hot burning refined carbohydrates, animal proteins and fats.
All of these things will make the body's temperature rise.
The next time you eat a burger or a slice of pizza notice how you start to sweat.
It's not just the temperature of the food either.
It's the ingredients in the food as well.
Flavor enhancers such as Monosodium Glutamate, MSG, are categorized as "excito-toxins" because of the effect they have on the body and will significantly increase sweating.
Many of the food additives are unrecognizable by the body.
These foreign invaders in the bloodstream create an alarming, chemically triggered fight or flight response.
Naturally we perspire as a result.
In contrast to processed foods, fresh, uncooked fruits and vegetables have a cooling effect on the body.
Indeed, in a small study conducted by Andrew Perlot and detailed in his eBook THE RAW FOOD LIFESTYLE, rawfoodists were found to have a consistent lower body temperature and to tolerate heat much easier than non-rawfoodists.
They also lacked body odor.
Not surprisingly, there is a direct correlation between body mass and perspiration.
Body fat traps heat.
But, it may also be that the foods we eat to maintain a high body mass causes the body to over-heat and perspire profusely as well.
There are many methods to quickly eradicate excessive underarm sweating, but before you shoot the messenger, listen to your body.
Be patient with it.
Maybe it's time to switch to a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables.
You'll cool your body temperature and lose weight too.
Both will reduce the amount you perspire.
An interesting thing happens when we become friends with our body and ourselves, we become healthy.
