- 1). Launch a Web browser and log in to your Tumblr blog through the form on the Tumblr homepage.
- 2). Select the "Preferences" menu option. Click "Customize your blog" to bring up your theme options.
- 3). Click "Theme." Click "Use custom HTML." You can paste in the HTML code for your Tumblr theme into this field. The HTML for your current theme appears on the HTML code window, so you can use this as the basis for your own custom theme if you have not designed a Tumblr theme already.
- 4). Click "Disable Custom HTML" if you need to revert your changes.
