There is a lot of negativity out in the world. It is hard to find a place free from negativity. It breeds in the workplace, lingers at the marketplace, raises its ugly head in public gatherings, it filters into our living room from the television and infiltrates our minds through the Internet. Negative thoughts and not-so-nice energies are practically everywhere. However, we can choose to limit or bar negativity from our homes and other personal spaces.

Disagreements and shouting matches tend to occur at home between spouses or among siblings. But what if you had a rule that no family arguments were allowed under your roof? How long would your children squabble with one another if you sent them outdoors until they resolved their differences? What if in your marriage you were not allowed to go to bed with feelings of bitterness, resentment, or grudgingly holding onto an angry heart? Learn to nip those negative feelings in the bud when they first try to over-bloom.
