Most poses can be amplified or modified to accommodate all levels. Take any pose from beginner to intermediate simply by extending the length of time and the depth of the stretch in each posture. The intensity of most yoga styles can be increased or decreased according to your level. Arm balances like Crow Pose, inverted postures like Tripod Headstand and standing poses like Chair pose, also known as Thunderbolt posture are considered intermediate levels. - Intermediate poses take the challenge of strength, balance and flexibility to the next level. If executed incorrectly, they can cause injury. Practice all new postures under the supervision of a licensed professional.
