Take A Look At My Top 5 Skateboarding Boards
As a long time freak of the concrete I decided to put together my top five skateboarding boards. Instead of telling you which board I like I am gonna tell you which companies are the best and you can choose from there. There is a lot to choose from so you are going to have to choose a skateboarding board that fits your style and your price range. If you are new to skateboarding then this will be a good place to start and know you are getting a good board from a good company.
Skateboarding Boards Top 5
These are in no particular order but I do really like Element, so I will make that the first on my skateboard favorites list.
Element Skateboards When you talk about skateboarding boards you have to mention Element. An older very established compnay they earn the right to be my first honorable mention. While they did have some problems a while back they came through with shining colors partly due to a guy by the name of Bam Margera. This gave the company credibility again and gave them the resources to do the research necessary to put out some great boards. If you are looking for a 7 ply board you can try their Thriftwood. This board is strong and really takes a beating. They have some new lightweight boards that aren't light on the wallet but they are light on the concrete.
Zero Skateboards If you like a nasty board with skulls and gore then you're gonna love Zero skateboarding boards. With skaters like Jamie Thomas and Chris Cole riding the Zero you know they are good. They have a nice line of affordable boards that won't break the bank and they have some boards that will put a nice dent in it. I like the overall design of the board and they ride better if you put out a little more for some nice wheels.
Plan B Skateboards I wonder what their Plan A was if they are now onto Plan B? Plan B is a relatively new company but from what I have seen they know how to build a skateboarding board. Their 7 ply skateboard is one of the best constructed boards on the market and can compete with anybody as far as quality and pricing. You will have a hard time tearing up this skateboarding board, I know I have tried.
Powell Skateboards Powell has been around for a long time and they know their stuff when it comes to building a great skateboarding board. Go ahead and give it all you got, you will be hard pressed to hurt this board. If you don't mind sub par graphics then you will find these boards will handle anything you can throw at them.
Birdhouse Skateboards Birdhouse is a stupid name but they make an awesome board. With Tony Hawk at the helm you know they are gonna have the best stuff. Looking to get some air time , don't worry you can land with confidence on this skateboarding board. The new Black 6 technology will give you the pop you need to finish with a bang. I like this board a lot.
That's my top 5 skateboarding companies. They all have really good quality boards and know their stuff when it comes to making the best skateboarding boards. Find a board you like and ride it till the wheels fall off.
