How do I Remove Oil and Grease From a Garage Floor?
- 1). Apply clumping kitty litter liberally onto the oil and grease. Allow the litter to sit on the area for several hours.
- 2). Remove the kitty litter by sweeping it into a dustpan. Discard the litter into a trash bag.
- 3). Apply a few drops of neat detergent onto the oil and grease spot. Neat detergent is used to make bars, flakes and powder. Neat detergent is available for purchase from craft stores and various online merchants
- 4). Scrub the detergent into the garage floor using a steel brush. Rinse the floor with a water hose.
- 5). Repeat the process until you have removed all oil and grease from your garage floors.
