A Valentine"s Day Delivery Request For My Love
If you are having problems trying to decide what to get your sweetheart for Valentine's Day and you want to make it extra special for her (or him) then ask that special person to write you a letter.
There is something about writing a letter that seems to take the guilt out of 'asking' you for what they really want partner and I sat at a coffee shop one Sunday morning and he asked me what I would like for Valentine's Day.
I thought about it and felt shy about telling him what I REALLY wanted so he suggested that I put it in writing.
What a surprise request for me, but I sat down and once we got home, wrote that letter.
You might have some great luck with your Valentine if you try this unique method.
You'll find that your shopping isn't guesswork and that you may have been missing out on some great information through the years by just asking.
If you are having trouble writing a letter then below is an example - if you are the writer - of the letter I used.
And I am pleased to say that the results were spectacular! It became a tradition for us and as the years pass we read the letters only on Valentine's Day.
It's a REAL TREAT! What does a woman want - what does any woman want? How can we expect men to know if we don't tell them, but the problem is...
most women do not know what they want.
Well...
not exactly anyway, when it comes to gifts for themselves.
Because it is Valentine's Day soon and I have never said a thing about what I want, or would like to have.
I am going to tell you that this year for Valentine's Day I want it all.
I want these things from you: A Chauffeur to pick us up for dinner.
If you really want to give me that warm, fuzzy feeling and weather permitting, a horse drawn carriage would be a better choice.
2-3 hours of time to only spend on myself before dinner getting ready for our big night.
No kids, no cleaning house, no picking out your clothes for dinner, no taking out the garbage, no feeding or walking the dog, no phone calls, no nothing except me spending time on my bath, my hair, my makeup, my jewelry, my clothes.
Nothing but me, me, me time.
I mean it - Pretend there is no human way for you and/or the kids to enter our bed and bathroom area for that time frame and that you cannot contact me with any form of communication during that time - voice, phone, computer, intercom, nothing.
Flowers - expensive ones A special gift that only you would know that I would love and please spend so much money on my gift that I feel guilty you even got me something.
My own little personal gift basket! You walking beside me from the moment we leave the house until we get home that evening.
I'm proud of you and I want you there beside me - not ahead of me (your legs are longer and you walk faster and I promise I will have on high heels).
I want my door opened (house door, car door, restaurant door - all the doors) and I want you to hold them open for me until I get all the way through them and wait for me to walk through them before you let them close.
Hold my hand or take my hand in your arm.
Take chocolate cake home with us and eat it all before we get back to the house that evening.
A smile lighting up your handsome face all evening.
And when we get home I want to turn the tables on you and give you a special treat too! But, truly, what I really want is your honesty, and sincerity.
Your hugs and Kisses at night and your "I Love you's" in the morning.
Take it from here knowing that I adore you.
Happy Valentine's Day!
