How to Get Butter Out of Microfiber
- 1). Spray Lysol -- or a similar product like Clorox Formula 409 or Totally Awesome -- on a small, unnoticeable portion of the microfiber, to make sure it will not damage the fabric. Blot the spot with a white washcloth, and then let the spot dry. If the area dries without discoloring or damaging the fabric, continue to the next step.
- 2). Spray the Lysol or alternative product on the butter stain. Do not saturate the fabric.
- 3). Blot the spot with the white wash cloth used earlier. Let the spot dry.
- 4). Spray Lysol or the alternative on the spot again, and blot the area with a clean white washcloth. Then let the spot dry. Continue this until the butter stain is gone.
