Line an Easter basket with a plastic bag. The liner will prevent water from leaking through the basket.

Place a cell pack of blooming annuals inside the lined basket. Some good flower choices are pansies, violas, nemesia and sweet alyssum. If the cell pack sits too low in the basket, place some crumpled newspaper beneath it. If your basket is very large, you may need to use more than one cell pack of annuals - try mixing types or colors of flowers.

Tuck plastic Easter grass around the annuals to hide the plastic bag and the cell pack container.

  • 4). Add a few foil-wrapped chocolate eggs for some extra color.
