Setup

• 1). Place the electric pressure washer in a spot where it will be out of the way while detailing yet close enough so as not to have to stop washing to move it closer because you don't have enough hose to reach around the vehicle. Inspect the hose lines and fittings for cracks and functionality.
  
  
• 2). Connect garden hose to electric pressure washer and water spigot (faucet). Use a universal spigot key if necessary to turn on the water spigot.
  
  
• 3). Measure out the necessary amount of car-wash soap into the bucket. Add water.
  
  
• 4). Plug the GFCI extension cord into an electric pressure washer and electrical outlet--a GFCI outlet if possible. Make sure the extension cord is extended in such a way so as to avoid standing or pooling water. Turn on pressure washer.
  
  

Clean

• 1). Spray vehicle with plain water so as to get the entire vehicle wet. You do not want to spray soap onto a dry vehicle, especially on a hot day.
  
  
• 2). Insert pressure washer detergent intake line into bucket. Attach rotating brush to pressure washer wand. Apply soap from the top of the vehicle down to the bottom of the vehicle, skipping the tires and wheels or rims.
  
  
• 3). Remove the brush attachment. Attach a fan tip or adjust fan tip on the electric pressure washer so that it's ready to rinse. Rinse vehicle.
  
  
• 4). Use a hand brush to wash the tires and wheels. Rinse the tires and wheels with the electric pressure washer.
