If you're not great with technology, buying a digital camera might be hard for you.
There are hundreds of options out there.
In most cases, people will have no idea where to start.
They can turn to Consumer Reports sometimes, and that might help them if they want a camera.
Buying a digital camera doesn't need to be something unpleasant.
If you do a little research in advance, you can enjoy this process.
I bought a digital camera a few years back, for myself, but I didn't really look into all the options that were available.
I just didn't think I should give too much thought to the purchase of a camera.
Being a beginner in this field, all I took into consideration was the price.
I chose something that wasn't too cheap or too expensive.
It was average price wise.
Taking into consideration only the price is a bad way to buy a camera, you can trust me on that.
I found that digital camera in a discount shop, and the company that made it wasn't well known.
In general, one rule to go by is not to buy electronics from grocery stores, like I did.
That digital camera was a disappointment from the first photo I took with it.
It has hard to use and I needed several hours to learn how to take proper photos.
Still, I didn't like it even then.
The real problem that annoyed me was that this camera needed four seconds pause for each shot it took.
More than that, when taking a picture, there was a delay of two seconds.
This is a problem because you're not really sure when to push the button.
Imagine something that takes just a few seconds, like a baby's smile, and you realize that the delay can cost you the photo.
