If you have just the regular type of backhoe that will dig you simple holes in the ground, you can make that backhoe much better by investing in many of the attachments that are available on the market today.
The Tractor Backhoes attachments include such items as the tiltrotator.
This attachment was invented in Sweden in the early 80's.
One of the best name brands in this type of attachment is Rototilt.
They have a line of products that can be thought of a mechanical wrist that is attached to you backhoe.
The Rototilt attachment will allow the Tractor Backhoes to have the capability of rotating a full 360 degrees when it is tilted.
This attachment will eliminate the constant need to reposition the backhoe in a place where it can reach.
There are five different Rototilt models that you can choose from.
These models include the Rototilt RT20, 30, 40, 60B and the Rototilt 80.
Another attachment that can be used is the hydraulic breaker.
This is a rather large type of powerful hammer that is used to smash different items such as concrete, rocks, sidewalks, steps, as well as many other things.
The hydraulic breaker can be used on all Tractor Backhoes for demolition jobs of concrete highways, bridge demolitions, building demolitions, as well as many other instances where something needs to be torn down or torn apart in order to be fixed or replaced.
Most of the time you will see these types of items attached to much larger backhoes so that they can get the power behind them in order to actually demolish what they are needing to demolish.
Another attachment is the grapple.
This attachment is used to reach large objects and move them from one location to the next.
It will grab an object and hold it securely in its claw like grip.
Some of the Tractor Backhoes that you will find will already be equipped with this type of attachment.
They will utilize a specific lever or hook that will move objects where they want them to go.
They are moved by hydraulic pressure with hinged sides to get a better grip.
There is also the auger that is a very useful attachment in order to drill holes into the ground.
This just does not drill little one to two feet deep but will dig a hole that can be over 100 feet deep depending on the attachment and the backhoe that it is attached to.
