- The performance oriented Sky Redline was powered by a turbocharged 2.0 liter, inline, four-cylinder engine. This 16-valve DOHC motor had a 3.38-inch bore, 3.38-inch stroke and a compression ratio of 9.2:1. Output for this engine was 260 hp at 5,300 rpm and 260 pound-feet of torque at 2,500 rpm.
- The Sky rode on a 95.1-inch wheelbase with an overall length of 161.1 inches. The vehicle was 50.2 inches in height and measured 71.4 inches in width. Trunk space measured 5.4 cubic feet with the trunk up and two cubic feet with the trunk folded down.
- The base Sky had a zero-to-60 mph time of 7.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 15.88 seconds. The turbocharged Redline hit 60 mph in 5.8 seconds and ran through the quarter-mile in 14.2 seconds. Both variants braked from 60 mph in 133 feet.
