    Harborfest

    • Harborfest is Boston's annual Fourth of July festival with over 200 activities, sponsored by the city of Boston. Harborfest will celebrate its 30th anniversary June 29 to July 4, 2011 with an incredible roster of events. You will find daily activities at City Hall Plaza, and nightly dinner cruises, pub crawls and special presentations. Highlights include a Chowderfest, where Boston's restaurant chefs compete for awards for the best New England chowder, a visit of Tall Ships, and a Children's Day. The event culminates on the Fourth of July with fireworks and a performance by the Boston Pops, a division of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, on the banks of the Charles River.

    • Few things are more romantic than dancing in the moonlight.The Tango Society of Boston has many moonlight tango events scheduled throughout the summer. You can take a date to dance the night away or celebrate an anniversary.The Tango Society gives weekly lessons to members, and sponsors an annual Boston Tango Festival in mid June. It welcomes tourists to attend classes and events.

    • Take a tour around Boston to visit many historical sites and learn about the city's history. Old Town Trolley Tours of Boston offers guided tours throughout the city.
