How to Create a Subcalendar in Outlook 2007
- 1). Open Outlook 2007. Click on "File," scroll to "New" and click on "Folder" in the string of selections that appear.
- 2). Type the name of the calendar in the "Name" field in the dialog box that appears.
- 3). Choose "Appointment items" in the "Folder contains" drop-down menu list in the same dialog box.
- 4). Pick a place for this folder in the "Select where to place the folder" list in the same dialog box. If you do not have a place for the calender, just highlight "Personal Folders" at the top. Hit "OK."
- 5). Find your new calendar in your folder tree in your Outlook 2007.
- 6). Put a check mark next to the new calendar name in the left column folder tree so your original and your new calendars will open side-by side. To overlay the two calendars, hit the small left arrow button on your new calendar tab above the calendar view.
