Amateur Boxing Weight Classes
- Amateur boxing is the form seen in the Olympics, at the collegiate and high school levels and at regional competitions such as the Commonwealth Games. While professional boxing weight classes are not consistent throughout the various organized boxing leagues, amateur boxing features the same 11 classes at every level.
- Boxers up to 106 lbs. (48 kg).
- Boxers heavier than light flyweight up to 112 lbs. (51 kg).
- Boxers heavier than flyweight up to 119 lbs. (54 kg).
- Boxers heavier than bantamweight up to 125 lbs (57 kg).
- Boxers heavier than featherweight up to 132 lbs. (60 kg).
- Boxers heavier than lightweight up to 141 lbs. (64 kg).
- Boxers heavier than light welterweight up to 152 lbs. (69 kg).
- Boxers heavier than welterweight up to 165 lbs (75 kg).
- Boxers heavier than middleweight up to 178 lbs. (81 kg).
- Boxers heavier than light heavyweight up to 200 lbs. (91 kg).
- Boxers heavier than heavyweight, or 201 lbs. and up. (92 kg and up).
