Possible Early Signs of Pregnancy
- Most often, the first sign of pregnancy is a late or skipped menstrual period. Some women may experience an extremely light period in their first month of pregnancy.
- In the beginning of a pregnancy, a woman's breasts will become sensitive and tender, or the area around the nipple may darken.
- As the fetus and your uterus grows, it will put pressure on your bladder. This will cause you to urinate more frequently.
- Nausea, with or without vomiting, is often experienced early on in pregnancy. Although this is not limited to the morning, it is often referred to as "morning sickness."
- You may become easily fatigued early on in the pregnancy. This symptom can start as early as the first week after conception.
