How to Create Cell Phone Backgrounds
- 1). Use photo editing software to eit an image you want to use as the background. However, if you don't want to edit a picture, you can use an image you downloaded from the Internet or already have stored on the system.
- 2). Launch the Internet browser on your computer. Navigate to the manufacturer site of your phone. Select "Downloads and Support," then type in your product model number.
- 3). Select your operating system and click "Download." The driver for your phone downloads to the computer. You can now connect the phone to your computer.
- 4). Plug the USB data cable into the power port of the phone, then connect the other end of the cable into a USB port on the computer.
- 5). Click "Start" followed by "My Computer" (XP) or "Computer" (Vista and 7), and finally double-click the removable device icon. This opens a window with all of the items currently stored on the phone.
- 6). Open "Pictures," then click-and-drag any pictures from your computer into the "Pictures" folder. When you open the images folder on your phone, the pictures are stored there.
- 1). Power on the phone and select the main menu. Once the main menu appears on the screen, select "Options" (or "Settings").
- 2). Select "Background" (or "Display"), and the information regarding the current background image loads.
- 3). Choose to change the current image. All the available images on your phone load, and you can scroll through the pictures with the directional arrow buttons on your phone.
- 4). Choose one of the images and select "OK." The new image appears as the background of the phone. You can close out the menu and options window of your wireless phone. The next time you boot up and restart your phone, it appears on your screen.
