How to Disembark from Disney Cruise Line Ships
- 1). Watch the disembarkation presentation, which is held on the last night of the cruise. There is a live presentation in the Walt Disney Theater on deck four, but don't worry if you can't attend. A recording is shown repetitively throughout the evening on your stateroom television.
- 2). Fill out your Customs form and survey on the last night instead of waiting until morning. Your stateroom host will drop off this paperwork on the last evening. Because you must leave the ship early in the morning, it will less stressful if you take care of as many details as possible ahead of time.
- 3). Take advantage of Disney's luggage delivery service. While you can take your luggage off the ship yourself, it's much easier to let Disney Cruise Line handle the job. If you pack your bags and put them outside of your stateroom by 11 p.m. on the last night, along with the special tags provided by your stateroom host, the Cruise Line will take it to the terminal. You can carry one or two small bags off the ship, and pick up your large bags in the terminal.
- 4). Leave the ship at whatever time you prefer. Unlike other cruise lines, Disney does not assign you a group and make you wait until that group is called. Once the ship is cleared by Customs, you can leave whenever you choose as long as you're off the ship by 9 a.m.
- 5). Look for your luggage in the assigned area of the terminal building if you opt for Disney's luggage delivery service. You will receive a tag the night before, marked with a specific color and Disney cartoon area. The next morning, your bags will be in the corresponding area. Unlike other cruise lines, Disney also lines the luggage up by stateroom number to help you locate it quickly.
