Article Marketing for Coaches - Your Guide to Success Part 2
Showcase your expertise.
This one is very important for coaches like you.
Remember, your prospects will only do business with you if they're convinced that you're an expert and that you have what it takes to coach them to either succeed in life or advance in their chosen careers.
So, show them what you've got.
Impressed them with your in-depth knowledge by offering them with useful, valuable information.
I suggest that you write articles that will give your readers a sneak peak on what you offer.
For example, if you're offering coaching programs about internet marketing, write an article that contain a step-by-step guide on how your prospects can convince more people to sign up to their newsletters.
If your tips and techniques worked, you'll win half the battle of converting your prospects to buying customers.
2.
Make it fun.
Even if your articles are very informative, they will still not leave a lasting mark on the minds of your prospects if they're too boring to read.
So, avoid sounding too formal.
Write the same way you talk.
Use lay man's terms, short sentences, and simple paragraphs.
It's okay to tell jokes once in a while or to ask your readers some questions.
These will actually help in engaging them.
It's also okay to tell some of your personal stories and experiences as long as they're related to the topics that you're discussing.
3.
Optimize your articles.
Know the latest requirements of giant search engines when they're indexing articles and apply these when writing your copies.
Right now, it will really help if you put your primary keyword on your titles, on your article summary, on the first sentence of your article, on your resource box, and on each of your paragraphs.
You can also sprinkle relevant terms and phrases all throughout your content.
4.
Make your articles reader-friendly.
Here's what you can do to make your articles look very enticing to the eyes of your audience; make them relatively short (400-600 words should be enough to discuss very specific topics), scannable (use subheads and bullet list), and easy to understand.
5.
Distribute your articles.
You'll be happy to know that there are so many websites that you can use in promoting your articles.
Start by using article marketing sites like goarticles, articlealley, and of course, EzineArticles.
These directories will allow you to use links on your resource box so make sure that you take advantage of that.
You can send your traffic either to your website or squeeze page (I recommend this).
You can also promote your articles using blogs, forums, and social networking sites.
Once you've written a lot of articles, you can put them together to create newsletters or ebooks that you can use as your viral marketing tools.
