How to Remove Concrete From Bricks
- 1). Wash wet concrete off a brick surface with a garden hose if it is outside or with a sponge and a bucket of warm water if it is inside. The concrete can be more easily removed if it has not had a chance to set up and dry.
- 2). Lay a drop cloth on the ground to catch the concrete debris.
- 3). Chisel dried concrete off the brick's surface using a small chisel and a hammer. Work the chisel at a low angle to the surface to avoid gouging the brick. Gently chip away the larger sections of the concrete from the brick.
- 4). Fill a bucket with warm water and use a stiff scrub brush to clean any residual concrete left on the brick's surface. Wet the brush and scrub the surface using long firm strokes to remove traces of the concrete. Finish cleaning the brick with a sponge and clean water.
