Ho, Ho, Ho, Here We Go
Yes, we are guilty for running the roads.
The good thing for my family is that all of our traveling is done within our state that we live in.
We usually eat dinner at my Mom's house and then go running to my wife's grandma's house.
The food is worth the short drive we have between the two places.
If you are like me the best thing on your mind is your speed, tire pressure, having a full tank of gas etc.
The only tank that I truly think about filling up is my belly! Just as important as good food and fellowship with our family and friends is preparing for our driving or traveling on the holidays.
One way to prepare for your traveling on the holidays is really simple, checking your tire pressure to make sure you have the proper air pressure in your tires.
The proper air pressure will also help you get better fuel mileage.
Remember is to fill you tank up a couple of days before hand.
This will help on time and also save on money.
Remember gas prices get hiked up during this time! Try to fill your tank up at the gas station that you are used to filling up at.
The last thing you would need to be an aggravation on your holidays is water in the tank.
If you are traveling long distances, get gas at the name brand places.
To many people are wanting to make quick money and will cheat to do it, even if it will cause headaches for others.
Speed is another thing we all need to watch or be concerned with while traveling for the holidays! Yes we all get excited about going we tend to get a little led foot on the pedal.
The fines are usually double during the holiday, and this will truly damper your holiday spirits.
One way to keep this from happening is setting your cruise control.
By setting your cruise control you will also save on fuel milage.
Also if you don't like to use your cruise control, you may want to invest in a radar detector.
This is a small investment that will save you money in the end!
