Here are the top tourist attractions to see: Blue Mosque - Sultan Ahmet Camii This mosque was completed back in 1616 and was built to reflect the magnificence of Islam.
It gets its name from the blue tiles that are used to decorate its interior and is certainly one of the most beautiful mosques anywhere in the world.
Natural light shines through 260 windows and on summer evenings you can enjoy sound and light shows in the mosque grounds.
Haghia Sophia Museum Another breathtaking sight you must see is Haghia Sophia Museum which was originally a church built in the 6th century AD and at the time was the largest church in the world.
The Latins looted it, taking many of its precious treasures in the 13th century to the west.
