Even if you are an experienced photographer, I am sure these ideas will help you to look at your job from another angle and may be improve your earnings. Here are those tips:
- Be creative not only when taking pictures, but when thinking of marketing and branding your venture as well €" create a number of unique personalized products, not traditional mugs or key chains, but something more interesting and unique. You can offer those products as a gift for your clients, and be sure, if they get a nice and unique item with your logo, like clock, watch, cellphone / laptop skin etc., they will spread the word to their friends and relatives.
- Teach. You can conduct classes on photography for local wannabe photographers or high school students. This will work perfectly for lots of things - your profit, popularity, credibility and image. Be sure, there will be people in the community who would want to hire you as a photographer only because they know you teach photography classes, so they assume you are very knowledgeable in the field.
- Network. Visit local Meetups for photographers, meet people, showcase your works. You can even organize your own group, event or exhibition. That would be a perfect way to meet new clients and build some relationship with them.
