For many years I have been working as a life coach and have found that there are many common themes that come up in relationships between people.
In the vast majority of people it is safe to say that suspicion or jealousy are the most common topics that I have to deal with.
So why do people get suspicious or jealous of their partner? Well it all usually comes from a sense or uncertainty or insecurity that someone is feeling.
There are many reasons why this is the case as I will explain here.
So why do people find themselves feeling unsettled in their relationship.
Well it can build up over a long period of time where the initial signs are usually quite insignificant and therefore not really noticed.
If they are noticed then action can be taken there and then and future patterns of behaviour will not be set.
But this is not usually the case.
It is really important in a relationship to ensure that you are giving and getting satisfaction at all times to keep it healthy.
(I do not just mean sexual, although that is hugely important too) All aspects of a relationship must give satisfaction if they are to survive the long haul.
No I do not meal that everything will be great all the time but if the majority of issues are good then those that are not so good will not dominate the relationship to the point of breakdown.
This is so important and usually all relationship breakdowns can be traced back to these initial issues and behaviours that have developed over time and become dominant.
So are you in a relationship that is now difficult or where you are feeling unsettled, cheated, left out or just plain unloved? If you are then you need to take action now and get yourself sorted out.
Do not just bury your head in the sand and hope that things will blow over.
The really sad thing is that the change has to start with you if you are going to improve your life.
