How to Date Photos to Be in Chronological Order
- 1). Sort your photographs by the year they were taken. If they do not have a date printed, estimate by what's in the picture.
- 2). Write the year on each photo. Place photos in piles organized by year.
- 3). Break it down further by organizing the photos by the month in which they were taken. Write this on the back.
- 4). Take any notes that may be important and write them on the back. Use an archival safe pen.
- 5). Keep each month in a separate envelope, box or album.
