It is important for the body to have more white blood cells in the body to help immune system of body to fight against diseases. If a person is having low white blood cells in his body, it can cause him to have more infectious bacteria in his body which can cause various infections. This can further lead to various other diseases to get affected in human's body. To treat this health condition, a special medication is recommended for the growth of more white blood cells which is known as 'colstim'. Its generic name is filgrastim which helps to increase more white blood cells to fight against infections in the body and hence avoid a person to get affected by other harmful diseases.
This medication is also known as granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) which is produced by using certain bacteria.
