Besides the emotional significance, a child's first birthday is an important milestone in her life as by this time she would have made significant physical and mental developments. For example, by the first year, a child is able to crawl. A few children even start walking whereas most imitate those around and convey their needs through various gestures. Hence, you can choose gifts for a child's first birthday that would simply be a celebration of the baby becoming a year old. Or you can also give gifts that would aid in the physical or intellectual development of the child. - Celebrate the child's first 365 days by making a photo album of pictures that capture moments in the child's life.
