How to Restore Marble Finish
- 1). Sweep your marble flooring with a broom. Dilute the marble cleaner with a gallon of water according to the directions. Avoid mixing in too much cleaner, because it can harm the stone.
- 2). Clean the surface with a mop, using the cleaning mixture. Rinse the cleaning mixture with plain water and allow the surface to dry before walking on it.
- 3). Apply an etch remover to restore any scratches on the marble. Use a soft towel to apply the etch remover in a circular motion.
- 1). Wipe the counter tops with a paper towel or soft cloth to remove dust and debris. Mix the marble cleaner with water and pour into a spray bottle. Spray the counter top with the cleaning solution.
- 2). Wipe the cleaning product off with a soft towel. Buff the counter top with a white towel to prevent streaking.
- 3). Use an etch remover to remove all scratches and to polish the marble. Allow the counter top to dry before using.
