Montgomery - Powys - Enjoy the Historic County Town

Are you interested in going some place that is filled with a lot of history? Sure, you town may be filled with history, but Montgomery is just one of those towns that you have to see.
You can read about it as much as you want, but you are not going to experience the true beauty of it until you have physically set foot into the rich atmosphere that is lingering.
For those of you that do not know, Montgomery is located in Powys.

Montgomery is well known for the castle that is sitting inside it.
Montgomery Castle started during the year 1223.
The parish church started during the year 1227.
However, the origins date back further.
Some of the other attractions you will come across as you are visiting the town include the Old Bell Museum, the Robber's Grave, the Town Wall, the Offa's Dyke Path and of course, a number of impressive buildings.
In this town, you are also going to find an increasing number of tourists that come here in order to enjoy the history.
As you are walking down the sidewalks of this historical area, you may smell food lingering in the air.
This wonderful, inviting smell is coming from the nearby restaurants that have top of the line chefs preparing your food.
On a hot day, you can stop in for some ice cream or just as simple hot dog to keep the hunger away.
For those individuals that enjoy the nightlife, you can find many clubs and pubs to hang out at with your friends and family members.
