Who else is looking for some super easy ways to lose weight this year? If you are anything like most of the people who enjoy our articles, your #1 resolution for 2010 is to get fit and fabulous, right? And if you are anything like I used to be, you're probably going to spend MORE time actually planning your next diet, than actually following it.
Want to know what I've learned about dieting in close to 10 years of reading, writing and researching diet fads...
AND the people who really do lose weight long term? The ONLY way to truly lose weight is to integrate.
To STOP looking for shortcuts.
To commit to living your best life...
and starting right now.
In my view? You have a RESPONSIBILITY to yourself, your family and a higher power to take care of yourself.
To be a good steward to your body! After all, I truly believe that our bodies are amazing and great gifts...
and polluting them with junk food, and fad diets is the ultimate betrayal.
So how are fad diets keeping me fat? The truth? Because most fad diets are NOT predicated on good supporting science, or nutritional principles that are proven to be effective.
For example, most of the most famous fad diets, (including the super high fat, low carb craze of just the past few years) are now well known to be "junking" up the body with all sorts of stuff that is keeping you fat.
(The more fat you take in, even on a low calorie diet, the most statistically likely you are to STAY fat, regardless of what the "guru's" may promise).
And the BEST way to lose weight in 2010? Very simple.
A balanced nautically complete diet, that is comprised MOSTLY of lean proteins, moderate amounts of fat and scarabs.
(very specific fats are ok, i.
e.
- avocado, olive oil in moderation and other "healthy" fats) Most importantly, an integrated but EASY to follow exercise routine is paramount...
and is the crucial key to FINALLY forcing your metabolism burn fat on optimal and accelerated levels.
Quite simply, there is NO long term benefit to getting thin...
if you don't integrate exercise.
Knowing the right types of foods, and the right types of movements to metabolize them most efficiently, IS the way going forward in 2010...
and beyond.
(no -joke!)
