Disney World isn't just for kids.
It's also for people who want to feel like a kid again.
And if you happen to be a Senior Citizen, there are a variety of enjoyable, accessible ways to experience Disney.
From the resorts to the theme parks, whether you want to do it big, or do it less big, many Disney World attractions cater to Senior Citizens.
Wheel Chair Accessible If you or any in your party are wheelchair bound, there are many wheelchair accessible attractions at Disney.
Do you need a hotel room with a wheelchair accessible bathroom? Or, if you simply wanted to minimize the walking and time on your feet and avoid any uncomfortable rides, you can do that too.
Many of the attractions geared toward the very young children are delightful for Seniors, as well.
Rides to Remember How about a relaxing boat ride touring different cultures on It's a Small World? Or perhaps Peter Pan's Flight through Neverland? Or go back to the 1930s with a safari on Jungle Cruise? Of Special Interest Senior Seniors would especially enjoy attractions like The Hall of Presidents - a twenty-five minute stage show, or the Carousel of Progress, which chronicles the developments of the Twentieth Century.
And the Senior set should be sure not to miss Walt Disney: One Man's Dream, a fascinating walking exhibit chronicling the birth of Disney World.
Epcot Center and Other Space Age Fun Did you ever dream of traveling back through time, or even forward into the future? Then be sure to treat yourself to Ellen's Energy Adventure.
Or take a fantasy filled ride on the Epcot Center's magnificent Spaceship Earth.
If you like heights and rides, check out the Magic Kingdom for futuristic rides at Tomorrowland, like the rocket where you can get an aerial view of the entire park.
Stage Shows and Parades If being catapulted over the park in a rocket at Tomorrowland isn't your thing, you can also enjoy great entertainment seated in your chair, planted firmly on the ground! From parades with giant Disney characters, to stage shows, street performers, fireworks and more, the choices are endless and limited only by your sense of imagination.
Evening Leisure Still have some spark left to burn after the parks? Check out the Boardwalk with its 1940s romance.
Or check out downtown, with its shops and interactive fountains.
Have dinner at a theme restaurant, and maybe head to Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba for an incredible display of animals, trapeze artists, and clowns.
Keeping the spring in one's step is easy with so many alluring choices.
