I tried out a few of the experiments with a bunch of kids - they were thrilled with the results. Unlike some science kits which include gross stuff like smelly powders and materials that stain everything in sight, the Magic School Bus Mysteries of Rainbows kit was pretty straightforward.
The kids loved the experiment where they could actually mix colors in a bowl of milk, and the end result was very pretty indeed. One of the experiments included a series of colored paddles which produced various colors when combined. Most of the other experiments were fascinatingly easy to do!
