There always comes a time when we would decide what we want to become when we grow up and have that certain stable career and earn a living out of it.
For me, I make sure that what I would want to become is what I would love to be.
To be specific about this, there are many people out there who are forced to take courses that they do not even want, if that would happen to me that would be like eating a certain food that I do not like.
So I followed my heart and became a Private Pilot.
Believe it or not I got the idea of becoming a Pilot from the movies I watched.
Since then I thought how it would feel if I were the one flying and maneuvering the plane.
The adrenalin, the excitement, that certain feeling when you can see the clouds in front of you as if you could just reach out and take it.
I literally wanted to experience it and basically it was the reason why I wanted to become a Private Pilot.
The reasons might be quite simple and childish, but it comes from my heart.
There are certain steps and requirements on how one can become a Pilot.
First off, you should be at least sixteen (16) years old.
That is the minimum age requirement of becoming a pilot.
Then you should choose a well renowned school for aviation and enroll.
One should also make sure that they are physical fit and do not have any ailment.
It would be just fitting for the FAA to make sure that no accidents would occur because of some medical ailment.
Also, one of the basic things you must obtain is that you must be able to speak, understand and read English very well.
English is indeed the universal language of the world.
Mastering it would truly be beneficial for you wherever you may be in the world.
After you have taken the Ground School classes and Flight Training, and have learned all there is you need to know, then the Private Pilot check ride would be your final challenge.
This step is where you gather all of your learning and pour it all out.
Always remember to be confident and never forget the basics.
Erase all doubts and just savor the moment.
After the check ride, the FAA will, in time, give you your license if you have satisfactorily passed their standards.
