Window Washing Like the Professionals

Window washing is one of the chores that most people dread to do.
You have to drag out cleansers, ladders, and cloths, and when you are finished you almost always can still see a streak of dirt on one of the window panes.
When you clean your exterior windows you should consider renting a pressure washer to do the job with.
The pressure washer will have enough pressure to allow the water to reach windows that you normally have to get on a ladder to reach.
These machines save you a lot of time, and a lot of elbow grease, when you are cleaning windows.
Window washing should always be done when the weather is moderate.
If it is really cold you will have a hard time removing all of the streaks from the panes of glass, and if it is hot the cleanser will dry on the glass before you can wipe it away.
Clean the glass around your house in early spring when the temperatures are above 50 and below 75.
Window washing is best done with old newspapers.
You want to use the black and white pages of newsprint to rub the cleaner over the glass, and then to dry the cleaner off of the glass.
The newspapers will save you money, and they will leave a streak free shine on a window pane.
Newspapers do not leave lint or residue behind.
You can usually find a source of free newspapers to do this work with at convenience stores.
Many local papers that are filled with sales advertisements are given to people for free.
Use these free papers to do this dirty work with.
White vinegar and warm water makes a fantastic window cleaning solution.
All you have to have is a spray bottle to put the mixture in.
Vinegar and water cleans the glass effectively and cost very little.
Vinegar is especially good at removing the stains left from smoking inside a building, and vinegar will not leave a residue on the glass.
You can use this solution on car windows and it will not create a glare on the windshield.
You should always clean the windows from top to bottom.
Spray the panes of glass and then follow your spraying with newspapers to spread the cleanser and dry it off of the surface.
Do not spray too large of an area or the cleanser will dry on the glass before you can wipe it off.
Once the cleanser dries it is hard to remove.
