Ford Verve Sedan concept
Ford plans to enter (actually to re-enter) the North American subcompact market in 2010, and the Verve sedan concept shows the direction their new small car will take. Ford showed a 3-door hatchback version of the Verve at the Frankfurt show, where it was rumored to be the next European-market Fiesta. The 3-door hatch will also be at Detroit to gauge reaction. The primary difference between hatch and sedan -- besides (obviously) the number of doors and the shape of the rump -- is that the sedan uses a bigger upper grille with the 3-bar motif as featured on many US-market Fords.
