How to Unlock the Theft Deterrent Radio on the 2001 Saturn Vue
- 1). Obtain the radio's 4 digit access code. The code is often found with the Saturn's original paperwork. If the code is not available, obtain the access code by providing the vehicle VIN number and proof of ownership to any General Motors dealership or one of several online radio code providers. There is usually a charge for this service.
- 2). Turn the Saturn car key to the "On" position. "LOC" will appear in the radio display.
- 3). Press the "HR" button until "LOC" disappears and "000" appears. Press the "HR" button multiple times until the first two digits of the radio access code appear on the radio display.
- 4). Press the "MN" button on the radio multiple times until the last two digits of the radio access code appear on the radio display.
- 5). Press the "AM/FM" button to enter the access code. This will activate the radio.
