How to Get Crayon Off of Wood Chairs
- 1). Test spray a small amount of WD-40 on the wood chair, away from the crayon stain. Wipe away the WD-40 to see if it wipes away clean. If it does, proceed.
- 2). Lightly spray the crayon stain with WD-40 on the chair.
- 3). Wipe the stain clean with a terry cloth. Repeat as necessary until the crayon stain is lifted.
- 4). Apply a small amount of liquid dishwasher detergent to a sponge. Apply the detergent to the remnants of the crayon stain and WD-40 in circles. This helps remove the oil.
- 5). Wipe the area clean with a small bit of water and a terry cloth.
