How to Track Western Union Pick-Ups
- 1). Go to the Western Union website and click on the "Track a Transfer" link at the top of the page.
- 2). Enter your Money Transfer Control Number---which is given to you at the time you make your transfer---and the first and last names of the sender and click "Check Status." If you do not have the Money Transfer Control Number you can skip that section of the search page and scroll down to the section that allows you to enter the first and last names of the sender and the recipient to search for the wire transfer that way. Click "Check Status."
- 3). View the results of your transfer. If no information appears you should check to ensure you entered and spelled the names of the sender and/or recipient and the Money Transfer Control Number correctly.
