How to Install a Pro Hunter Peep Sight on a Bow
- 1). Draw a bowstring to your normal anchor position with your eyes closed.
- 2). Open your eyes and sight down the bow. The area directly between your eye and the sight on the bow is the correct location for the peep sight.
- 3). Fire the bow approximately 20 times in a safe archery range if the bow is new. This will help prevent twisting after the peep sight has been installed.
- 4). Insert the pointed end of a string separator into the desired location of the peep sight between the two strings that make up the bow string. Make sure the two strings are as separate as possible and do not split the fibers within each string.
- 5). Twist the string separator 90 degrees to separate the bow string's two strings.
- 6). Insert the Pro Hunter peep sight in between the separated strings.
- 7). Rotate the string separator 90 degrees and remove it from the bow string.
- 8). Draw the bow to your normal anchor position with your eyes closed and open your eyes to check the position of the peep sight. If necessary, remove the peep sight, split the strings with the string separator and install the peep sight in the new location. Repeat this process until the sight is installed in the correct location.
- 9). Take a length of waxed B50 bow string and fold it in half so the ends are touching.

Wrap the waxed B50 string around the bow string about 1/2 inch above the peep sight. - 11
Pass the loose ends of the waxed B50 string through the loop at its other end. This is called a hitch knot. Repeat this process approximately five more times. Repeat this process approximately 1/2 inch below the peep sight. - 12
Cut off the loose ends of both waxed B50 string with a scissors. - 13
Dip the end of the included latex tube in rubbing alcohol. - 14
Slide the tube onto the pointed end of the peep sight. - 15
Tie the opposite end of the tube to the nearest bow string.
