Definition:

Dejazmach ('General of the Gate') is an Ethiopian honorific, equivalent to the European rank of Count. It also denotes a provincial military leader. Typically, a Dejazmach was not part of the Imperial line. A duke from the Zagwe or Solomonid Dynasty would be refered to as a Leul Dejazmach, a Dejazmach of Imperial blood.
