How to Clean Fiberglass Residue

104 7
    • 1). Fill a spray bottle with equal parts of water and white vinegar. The vinegar will clean, eliminate odor, and disinfect the fiberglass surface.

    • 2). Pour 3 tsp. of liquid dish soap, which will cut through the residue, into the spray bottle. This soap works perfectly on fiberglass surfaces because it dries streak-free and without film or residue.

    • 3). Spray the solution onto the fiberglass surface, and wipe with a damp sponge.

    • 4). Scrub heavy buildup areas with the scrubber side of the sponge. Using a nylon sponge with a scrubber will cut through residue without scratching the fiberglass finish.

    • 5). Repeat until all residue is removed to your satisfaction, then wipe down with a sponge moistened with water only to remove any cleaner or remaining residue.
