The 3 Nasty Lies That Will Keep You Skinny And Prevent You From Making Any Serious Muscle Gains

If you're pouring over the latest bodybuilding magazines for the latest fads in technique and supplements, you're probably cheating yourself out of nearly all of your potential to grow.
Don't be misinformed by all the hype.
Here are three lies you believe that will send you back to square one or worse.
Nasty Lie #1 Imitating the training of a champion will make you one too! Following the training regimen of an elite bodybuilder is one of the biggest scams you can chase after.
They lead you to believe that their success has nothing to do with gifted genetics and that they are drug-free.
The truth is unless you are spending thousands of dollars a week on 'supplements', you are committing training suicide.
Find a former "hard gainer" and follow his example.
That's the key to success.
Nasty Lie #2 Pumped=Muscle Building Success Getting the "pump" from 100 reps with light weights might feel great but it's doing nothing for your overall strength gain.
It's caused by an accumulation of blood inside the muscle.
That blood is not oxygen rich and flowing.
It is old and has no way to renew.
This creates lactic acid that achieves the burn.
Lactic acid, however, is a waste product.
It has nothing to do with building muscle.
Train with heavy weights and achieve the pump that means you're targeting the muscles properly.
Then you'll reach your goal.
Nasty Lie #3 Train until you drop! The body is designed to survive.
To that end, it is constantly adapting itself to whatever stimulus it is exposed to.
When you lift weights to exhaustion, you're preventing your body from recovering properly.
Incremental increases in your training that are consistent give your muscles the chance to recover properly and prepare themselves for the next increase.
