Getting pregnant comes easier to some women than others and it can be frustrating and heartbreaking, if after trying repeatedly you fail to conceive.

1) Watch your health

Getting pregnant is a physical issue as well as an emotional and spiritual experience, so if your health is bad on a physical level it can obviously affect your chances of getting pregnant. Cutting out smoking, alcohol and unhealthy foods can improve your overall health and subsequently your chances of conceiving.

2) Relaxation and pregnancy

Your levels of stress can certainly play a role when it comes to getting pregnant. When the body is stressed its functioning is impaired so this obviously will affect various functions including pregnancy. On a more scientific basis stress levels effect hormone regulation in the body which can interfere with the process of getting pregnant. Try some meditation and awareness techniques to relieve mental/emotional stresses. Try and locate the areas of stress in your body and gently breath with them untils they start to fade,

3) Sex and more sex

In order to increase your chances of getting pregnant quickly it's obviously important to consider the sex issue. Although ovulation takes place over a number of days it does no harm to have as much sex as you like unless you both find that sex is becoming tedious. Try using the missionary position as it offers deep penetration and minimises sperm leakage. Having sex in the morning will also increase the chances of conception as the sperm count is higher.
