Eat Healthy Eating healthy is essential if you want to build a ripped midsection.
You will be bodybuilding to build up your abdominal region so you need to make sure that you have a healthy diet so that you give your body the much needed nutrients to recover and rebuild all the damaged muscle fibre.
Also a balanced diet will ensure that you have enough energy to exercise and make sure that your body looks good (which you can't get from consuming unhealthy foods).
