Holiday Depression - Money Does Not Grow on Trees

103 7
Are you depressed during the holidays? Why? Is it because you are alone? Is it because money does not grow on trees? Read on.
When the holidays hit us like an arrow square on the nose your heart starts racing cause the race is on.
For me the race starts with Halloween.
When we see the children walking door to door trick or treating my mind goes into this is it, the start of the holidays.
The parties, Christmas shopping is now I must do - not I will put it off for a few more months.
Our time, our money is now counted in minutes and pennies.
Life is so busy you can hardly stop and breathe.
Now put on the brakes.
For somebody living alone or does not have any family or friends this is a very hard time of the year.
Depression looms with every breath they take.
Life does not seem worth living.
The holidays will never end.
Here we have two very different living styles.
But one thing - both living styles have in common is this - when the holidays are over and the frazzle and dazzle is over - depression starts.
The hype is gone.
Next year we will start over starting with Halloween, but for now our lives go back to their boring routines.
Mankind which was thinking of the homeless and the less fortunate is once again on the back burner.
Life goes on.
This year with the start of a new President and the economy crumbling on a daily basis, we need to think of the three months of the year when one way or the other we think of others.
Next year will be a better year.
Happy New Year!
