How to Look Swedish as a Female
- 1). Dye your hair blonde. See your hairdresser if you are unsure about coloring your hair yourself, or use a quality, home hair-coloring kit, follow its instructions and test a strand of hair for its sensitivity to the product. Choose a shade of blonde that is not too many tones lighter than your own hair or it won't work. Because your natural hair color will appear in new hair growth, apply dye to your hair roots every four to six weeks to maintain your desired blonde shade.
- 2). Wear blue contact lenses if your eyes aren't naturally blue or you want to change your eyes' shade of blue. Many shades of blue are available. Opt for an enhancement tint if you already have blue eyes but want to brighten them, or choose color tint contact lenses if you don't have blue eyes because they will change your eye color completely.
- 3). Practice good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth twice each day and flossing once each day to keep your teeth white. Avoid teeth-staining foods, such as coffee, tea and red wine. Whitening toothpaste can help, but don't use it every day because it can harm teeth. Alternatively, opt for a dental tooth-whitening treatment to maintain your teeth afterward to maintain the results.
- 4). Apply natural-looking makeup. Because Swedish women pride themselves on looking fresh and natural, keep cosmetics to a minimum. Apply foundation, dust bronzer on your cheeks, add a coat of mascara to eyelashes and add a slick of lip gloss to finish the look. Let your dazzling hair and eyes do the talking.
- 5). Wear a pair of high heels -- the higher the better. Wedges, stilettos and platforms will all flatter your legs and make them appear longer. Nude-colored heels worn with cropped jeans or a skirt add to the illusion because they blend with skin tone.
