Treating Fibroids - Knowing Yourself

103 4
Fibroids and dealing with them on a daily basis can be very daunting and stressful.
Think about the amount of blood loss, bad lower back pain, the traumatic period pains and the other symptoms which are associated with fibroids that you may have experienced or are experienced.
You may have experienced one of the above symptoms but whichever one you did experience, I am sure you would not want to go through it again.
I was one of those many women who suffered appallingly with the loss of blood.
I experienced an embarrassing moment having blood gushing swiftly down my legs and forming a pool of blood whilst standing in a queue in a bank.
And prior to that I had visited my doctor who did not at the time detect that I was suffering with anemia.
I had visited him on a couple of occasions and he was unaware that I was anemic and just kept asking me to return if I continued to lose blood and he would check my weight.
So during that time I did not have to experience so much blood loss if I myself had known what was wrong with me.
Had I been aware of my medical condition, had I studied for myself why I was losing blood, I am sure I would have been able to tell the doctor what was wrong with me.
I am sure I would have been able to detect earlier instead of visiting the doctor on 3 wasted occasions that I was anemic.
The only obsession going through my mind at the time was I was probably suffering with cancer! What I am saying to you is get to grips with yourself.
Understand your body and what it is telling you.
Get to know when you need to and what you need to do in order that you can deal with any illnesses or ailments before visiting your doctor.
I have learnt a lot about my body since being diagnosed with fibroids.
I have been able to keep any illnesses at bay and every three months or so, I visit my doctor just for a check-up to make sure all my organs are functioning correctly and that there is no sign of any illnesses of any form hidden in my internal body.
I am contented with where I am right now and I must say that I am grateful that I did not want to proceed with the major operation to have my uterus removed.
I am thrilled that I have been able to understand my internal body more and I am always learning more about the human body and the connection with foods.
